NC registration, 9000 pound tag including annual taxes was $93. Registration and taxes on my 2006 F-350 with an 11k tag was $123.

But they wanted $300 on my 95, and $470 for my 01 on the "ad valorum", some new fangled tax thing where you pay taxes once on it here,

My dad's 2010 was $1500

It used to be like that here. Anything over 10 years old was $35, then it went to $50, then $106, now $160
