Ignition question- Key out still running?

I went to move truck yesterday and turned key off and the truck did not turn off, it kept running even after the key was removed. I put key back it and moved it around a little and finally got it to turn off. I drove it all day yesterday and today without anymore issues. Anyone ever see this before? Thanks

Yup I could pull my key out while running. Got a new cylinder and keys from rock auto and had it changed out in about 10 minutes

I wanted to but it adds to the anti theft part having 2 keys to get in and turn it on.

Check out these pics and info

My son thinks it is something else because the tach and lights at dash loose power when key is turned off which he thinks means the ignition switch is working. look at the pics and see if you think this would cause switch failure or maybe arm behind ignition cylinder? Thanks
