What is this 7.3 worth?

The guy that my dad leases his garage off of has it. I dont know what to offer its a 96 f350 4x4 automatic but the best part is it has 22,000 miles!!!!!!!!! The guy that has it bought it new its been a plow truck its whole life but suprisingly the only rust is on the back bumper from the salt spreader.... shes a beast and she runs like new!! I dont think the guy knows what he has so i might be able to get it for less than its worth.

It's a plow truck so i'd assume you are right about the rust since the salt was coming out the back and it never went over a salted road since it was making them.

Jump all over that thing!

That's the rust you SEE. Look for it on all the suspension hangers/brackets, and on the radiator core support. 22,000 miles going back and forth every 30 seconds or so is equivalent to prob. 60,000-80,000 road miles, in terms of engine time (too bad we don't have hour meters). Still just breaking in, wrt. the engine. It's the whole rest of the truck, all the hoses, belts, etc., fluids, etc. that are just as old as a truck with 300,000.

In my area anything less then 120k they are asking 20,000 or more but condition is everything, motor and tranny can always be rebuilt. I say its worth what ever you can afford but I would say 8000 or less you are doing really good>
