What tires?

I haven't seen this topic in a little while and couldn't find it in a search.

This is the first time I've had to put new tires on my obs (replacing cooper discoverer atr). I like a mildly more aggressive highway tire as I spend several weekends at the hunting camp in the fall. I will stay with 285s.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

When I bought my truck I was unsure of which tires to purchase as well. These tires were recommended to me and have worn fantastically. They are an excellent in between tire, great on the road but do well off road too.

i also vote for the toyo open countrys. i run the 285/75. great tire. had them for 18 months and 12000 miles and they still look great. pretty much all the truck ever does is tow.

Kelly TSR. I just got my second set.
They are an aggressive tread but make no noise and do not cup. They Excel in dirt and snow.

I am going to go with a set on my ranger this fall

I'm not a fan of the toyo open country's I have. Too hard if a compound can't get them to stock in wet or snow. I like the cooper discoverers have one set in at and one in a mt bothe have good traction and wear. Just another option
