Will a swamps hvhf idm make my truck smoke more?

So I recently had a rebuilt turbo with wicked wheel 2 installed full injector harnes and injector pigtails with valve covers and ended up I needed an idm I called swamps and they were able to talk me into a hvhf idm I didn't buy anything to upgrade performance wise and I'm not a really big fan of "rolling coal" because I just don't see much since into pissing people off for no reason haha but I was wondering if it would make my truck black smoke more because the city I live in the cops are very anal about that stuff
Thanks for any input

Nope, all you will notice is a smoother idle, better start and quicker throttle response....

If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all! I just got off the phone with my mechanic and my idm is not firing #8 cylinder I switched out to my old idm and it took number 8 cylinder code and miss away and went back to only running passenger side bank put the new one back in and still pulling the code for miss in number 8 cylinder

Is it actually bad or is it just a misfire code. The grey CPS will commonly cause the #8 injector failure code.

Well it just doesn't sound right either with the new idm, that's what I was wondering is why would my old idm take away the driver side bank and the pass anger side work but when the new one is added only misfire in number 8, I'm going to call swamps tech support Monday and see what they say, I'm just ready to get my rig back I miss it way to much
