Possible transmission problem? **SOLVED**

Under what conditions should the torque converter lock? ...I'm not entirely sure if I have a problem here or not. I can feel my torque converter lock when I lay into the throttle but as soon as I let up it unlocks. Is that normal? I'm getting a little over 2000 rpm's at around 60 mph.

Problem Solved!

Some time ago I replaced my incandescent rear lamps with LEDs. What I didn't install was a load resistor (didn't know I needed to). Added a 6ohm 50W load resistor.

What I didn't realize was that the tranny monitors the braking system. Since I had LEDs with no load resistor it wasn't working correctly.
