Too Many Miles??

Hello everyone, I'm going to be looking at a 97 F250 next week and I had a few questions. The truck is a ec/lb, 4x4, e4od. It's got Sniper 170/30's, intake, 4" exhaust, gauges (egt, trans, boost), a recently rebuilt trans with a transgo tugger hd2 kit, and a 6 position chip with canned tunes. My plans for the truck would be frequent light towing 3k to 6k and occasionally towing 8k to 10k. It would be my daily driver for the most part as well. My questions/concerns are 1) has anyone actually used these sniper injectors? I've read several threads on them but, very few people with actual experience with their products. 2) the truck has 330,000ish miles on it. What sort of things should I be looking for engine wise? The only things I really plan on doing to the truck would be an aftermarket turbo and some custom tunes from either TW or beans, possibly swamps. Is that just way too many miles? I really only need 2 years out of this truck as I will be able to buy a much newer one then. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have never heard of anything good about their injectors

as for the milage..... 330 is A LOT of miles on a pickup. The engine can take it, but the rest of the truck is pretty much wore out

Unless they want under 3k, i would keep looking

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seats. PM me !!!!!!!

What part of the country?? ....Do they use road salt during winter?? If so look some where else. Road salt destroys cars/trucks.

Sniper injectors are junk. They rebuild them with used/worn parts and incorrect parts. If you buy the truck I would pull the injectors immediately and have them rebuilt. I say walk and let some other person deal with the troubles.

Waiting is likely a wise move. I understand that the OBS odometer spins to 399,999 and then back to 300,000. Not saying all trucks showing 3+ on the odometer really have 400,000 miles or more, just that it could be.

I envy those that know exactly which modification to make and in the most logical of sequences. But not enough to trade for my meanderings and misfires.

1996 F250 crew cab/short bed, 4x4, auto PSD, 6637 air filter, interior grab handles, stainless window vents, remote door locks work with engine running mod.
