Dana 60 swap for a dually

Looking to put a dana 60 front in my 94 F250 4x4 dually. Question - will any dana 60 work or does it have to come from a dually. If any dana will work can I use the spacers currently on the truck with the new front end.

Any help is appreciated.

How did they go about converting your truck to a dually? The aftermarket bolt on spacers(bolt on with lug nuts) or the cast Ford front hub(houses the wheel bearings and the rotor bolts to it)?

If they are the aftermarket bolt on spacers I recommend doing away with them. If the Factory ford cast pieces, hang on to them.

As for the D60, you will need one from a 85.5-97 F350. Single or dual wheel. The ONLY difference between a Single and a dual wheel axle is the cast hub that hold the wheel bearings and what the rotor bolts to. There is no other difference.

there were 3 different variations of the D60 that Ford used
85.5-91King pin/ pin on calipers
92-94 Ball joint/ pin on calipers
95-97 Ball joint/ Bolt on calipers(most demanded)
