first diesel

Hi just found this forum and looks like it could be a great help to me. Im looking at buying my first diesel pickup and am really interested in the 7.3 powerstroke. I am sum what knowledgable and am very mechanically inclined but im lookng for any info on longevity of th trucks. I am looking at a 02 7.3 short box 4 door has an auto never really towed but has 218,xxx miles. I know the truck will run a long time but i was looking at trucks with only 150,xxx. so my question is is there any issues with a truck with this many miles? it does not leak seems to run well. I just know very little about these specific trucks and motors. Any help would be much appreciated.

Honestly, you hear how 190k is break in miles for a diesel engine, and that's just plain BS.

However.... I would expect at least 270k out of the truck before it started giving the more serious problems.

Searching :
F-350
1994-1997
DI 7.3 Turbo
Extended or Crew Cab
4x4
Manual Transmission
