Tire Sizes ?

Was just wondering what size tire you can get away with on a stock eight hole aluminum rim on a 1997 F250? I know a 235 or 245 fit, but can I get a 285/75r 16 on there without rubbing?

you can run 285/75. You might get a slight rub at full lock on the steering. Mine rubbed at full lock running 285/75/16 BFG AT's. I have 305/70/16 now and they rub at full lock.

i have 285/ 75r 16 mud king tires and they dont rub
