Got my HIDs in today. It's amazing how long a simple project takes sometimes. Haha. Zip ties ended up holding me up for a 1/2 hour today. Good thing I don't have to pay myself by the hour.

I'm so good I pay myself by the quarter hour. Hahahaha jk. How good would you rate the finished/completeness of your kit? I've been looking at more expensive kits that I have seen good stuff about but figure I may be able to go cheaper. Lastly, did you do clear headlight/corner/turns and then use yellow leds, in the corners/turns?Or did you use stock?

Get the good kits.... the cheeper ones that were in my car i took out and threw away. I would go over a bump and loose all my headlights. Would have to pop the hood and tap the ballast to get the lights back. Went to ultra silver stars instead.

How much brighter were the xenons than the silver stars?

I got my modified factory radio back yesterday. Now I just gotta rip out this pos cd player and put it in. But I gotta go deliver some dirt to church, but I gotta wait for the Sunday service to get over and then try to get it done before I get wet.

The kit I got from DDM was ok. The quality seems to be cheap but they do work. One thing I ran into was the harness didn't span far enough to reach both sides of my truck. Short by about 3 inches, so I did have to extend the power and ground wires. Not thrilled about that, but you get what you pay for. I went with DDM because one of the guys in my chapter has had great luck with them. If they burn out or take a dump, I'm not in the hole for much and I'll upgrade to a retro kit.

As for the corners, I'm running crystal smoked 3-piece ebay headlights with clear LEDs that light up amber.
