intercooler pipes

any idea how hot intercooler pipes get? i am interested in both sides. i am installing an intercooler and just curious how hot they get on a hard pull or just cruising. thanks

I don't know any temps but it doesn't get hot enough to melt any plastic or regular spray paint off.

after a hard pull can you grab the hot side and hold the pipe without burning your hand to pieces?

I've never measured the temp but seeing how it touches a lot of plastic and hasn't burnt off any of my cheap paint then I would say no, it won't burn your hand. I don't really do any "hard pulls" either except for the occasional screwing around on the road and a couple of burnouts.
