Blinking Lights

Why do the lights on my truck flash if i turn the key on and off 3 times?

Like off on off on off on and they flash.. haha?

I know on the super duty's, if you do that, the locks will unlock, meaning you have factory keyless entry but I don't know about the OBS's

When I start my truck my doors lock. But i was just dinking around and found the blinking light mod..

Mine does that too even though i made it so i can drive with no headlights on, not even the running lights when im driving. IMO makes the truck look better without the lights on in the day. But the headlights always seem to blink when i turn the key on or turn it off. Maybe it was a saftey reason. And its the highbeams that flash.

my lights dont come on at all when i drive or start my truck when i do the 3 time turn key my parking lights, dash lights, cab lights, etc. blink

I'll have to see if my truck does that, may be someting to do with keyless entry.

Dallas4X4, the highbeam flash is a bug in the daytime running light module. I'll be retrofitting a OBS DRL module onto my superduty (was a US truck, no DRL) and see if I can figure out a way to stop the stupid "DRL wink"
