New Truck!

Well it looks like I am going to get the 97 CC F-350 I was asking questions about. To those that gave me tips, THANK YOU!!! Now I just need some more tips. The truck has a 4" lift, 315/75/16 and 4:10 gears. It is an auto. It drove pretty good just shifted a little odd. He has not recalibrated the speedo. My thing is I have driven a standard 97 F-250 2wd and the get up and go on the standard is much stronger, is this the usual case between auto and stick? I know I will do a few mods when I get it, what are some of the best. I have read about the DIY intake, FP mod, it already has a DP and staight pipe exhaust. What is the 17 HPOP? A TW chip? How hard is the 6.0 intercooler? Is there a write-up? He has an EDGE tuner that is coming with it, any good? I know alot of questions for one post just spent alot of time reading on this forum the last 2 days and just want to spend the money once not twice. It will mainly be used for towing a 22 ft. enclosed trailer.

Will be getting gauges, forgot that one! My main thing is about the shifting and feel of it. One good thing, the other 97 I drove is my brothers, so at least I have some help getting to know the ins and outs of diesel.
