97 TO 2001 MOTOR PARTS SWAP

i run a 97 but and i have a wrecked 2001 motor is excellent can the turbo and injectors be used on the 97 and would i gain anything?

'01 injectors are split-shot, so you'd need a custom computer or custom chip to have the engine run correctly. I'm not sure as far as the turbo. The HPOP on the '01 will be a 17*, which is a necessity if you go to a stage 1 or 2 injector. if the intercooler is still intact on the wreck, you can adapt it to the '97
