does anyone know of a keyless entry kit that plugs and plays?
kinda not a diesel question but im tired of using a key
because it raind and got cold my lock froze and it thawed with a blow dryer

i no theres aftermarket ones but i dont feel like cutting and splicing all my wires
i dont mind doing like power and ground wires
see i installed hide a ways and blue lights and dont wanna do all that bs again

As already mentioned, there is aftermarket. The factory RKE is NOT plug and play. Different wiring harnesses are installed in the truck depending on whether it gets the option or not. OBS trucks (and early SD's) didn't get the door keypad either, even though the module can do it, Ford never added the wires/keypad. Adding factory RKE to your rig is a two-day job with tapping and soldering, re-wiring door lock switches, and altering the door/courtesy lighting. Hacking the hole in the door for a keypad is one of those "better do it right the first time" things as well, otherwise you're looking for a new door.
