Wellman glow plugs? how good are they?
hey guys/gals. I contacted a diesel performance shop through ebay that had a good deal on Wellman glow plugs. i sent them a message to ask them if they sold motorcraft plugs, and they responded "no, but the Wellman plugs are WAY better than the motorcraft." I am just curious if anyone knew if they are of better quality and durability? I am trying to avoid having another swollen plug stuck in the head. thanks in advance

WAP plugs are ok. I haven't heard of any busting in a powerstroke. Call Jim Rose. He carries them.

alright, thanks dirk. I know I can always trust your advice. does Jim also carry the uvc harness and vc gaskets?

I doubt it. He'll probably tell you to call powerstroke shop. They sell pig tail kits for the OBS.

Let me be perfectly clear in this thread......
I have NOT heard of a WAP plugs swelling in the head more so than ANY OTHER plug. Like all glow plugs, they do go out. At what rate? No clue. |
