HPOP

I assume a hpop from a 03SD 7.3 would be the 17* Can someone explain the advantage of one of these on a 97 7.3?

17degree hpop is a sd hpop 2000sd.more oil more fuel more top end,better mpg.are you looking for one?a must have with a chip.

I work at a Ford dealership so i can get one pretty cheap just wondered what the benefit was, and waht year pump I should get

yeah any 7.3 2000 (maybe 99.5 also) up will have a 17 degree pump. They flow more oil/pressure.

whats a ballpark figure on what these things run? is a rebuild ok or is it just a bad idea?

You can get them from international for 400 +/- for a reman. You can also find them on ebay for 200 ish every once in a while..
