waste-gate control

when i start my truck in the winter in cold weather, and if i dont let it warm up and i start out, and once i hit about 1500, and then back outta it, i get a loud hissing noise, and large sucking of air under the hood. i have a stage 2 air intake on it but i dont think that would cause it. does anyone know why this is!! i plug it in when i am at home but i work in a strip mine and there is not such thing as a place to plug in out there.

EBPV question

Look at picture in this thread You need to unplug the EPR censor and it will quit doing this.

Is it just a sound or is there a lack of power until the engine warms up or lack of power all the time? There is no Waste gate on the OBS, but there is the Exhaust Valve that closes off the downpipe to load the engine for warmup and that can get stuck closed and cause issues.

No there seems to be no lack in power just when you start out and then back outta it, you get a loud hissing and loud thump from front left side where me air cleaner is, but if i let it warm up for a good 10-15 mins then it no longer does this!
