please help!!!! have a weird back pressure breathing sound on my passenger side only when cold out and only if i dont plug in during the day at work. It actually sounds like the truck is taking a deep breath and when I throttle it the back pressure leaves through exhaust. I do have an intercooler set up could that be causing problem? All of my hoses are tight. In the morning after plugging in over night no weird breathing problem. It sounds like some thing is stuck. IT's driving me nuts!!!!!!! I also notice that a puff of smoke comes out with release of pressure. It usually happens aroun 1500 rpms. Like I said the breathing sound releases when Ithrottle it a little. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I know I am in excellent hands here. Thanks

No its doing what its suppose to do its the exhaust back pressure valve closing, I'm pretty sure it is suppose to warm the engine up faster so that it runs better.

If you think the noise is excessive then you bedder go out and check the 10 mm bolt's on the turbo housing.
