Has anyone ever used one of these and are they easy to install? I am looking to get one before winter hits and was wondering what anyone could tell me about them! Thanks

Another question is do you have a chip on your rig? If you do you can get a high idle option put on it

I have one in my truck. easy to install, simple to use. The only thing I dont like about it, you have to have the park brake engaged for it to work...its a safty thing.
You wouldnt need a high idle from a chip, if you have the Auxillary Idle controller. It dosent get that cold here in NC, but on occasion I use the high idle option. I've used it most of the time when someone has a dead battery. |

I have an AIC and i use it fairly often...usually when winching or jump-starting another truck/car. Its really handy, and easy to install....plus you have another box in the cab that people ask about lol
