air filter

what do you guys think of afe stage 2 intake oiled element?
because i have a 96 f350 and there was a recall on the air filter and i bought the truck 2 months ago and the turbo has a slight sandblast like very fine
i dont want k@n cause they dont filter as well

I dont recomend the oiled element, I would recomend you an open dry filter, buy one from TYMAR or DIY.

I ran a Baldwin PA2818 (I think that was the #) and switched to the AMSOIL tapered, dry, cleanable filter because it doesn't get squeezed beteen the hood, battery, fuse box and fender well. I think I get more air now.

nothing wrong with oiled filters if their kept clean and are not oiled too much....
