air filter
what do you guys think of afe stage 2 intake oiled element?
because i have a 96 f350 and there was a recall on the air filter and i bought the truck 2 months ago and the turbo has a slight sandblast like very fine i dont want k@n cause they dont filter as well |

I dont recomend the oiled element, I would recomend you an open dry filter, buy one from TYMAR or DIY.

I run and am very happy with a 6637.
|

I ran a Baldwin PA2818 (I think that was the #) and switched to the AMSOIL tapered, dry, cleanable filter because it doesn't get squeezed beteen the hood, battery, fuse box and fender well. I think I get more air now.

I've been using the AFE stage II for some time and have no complaints.

nothing wrong with oiled filters if their kept clean and are not oiled too much....
