Looking for front springs for 97 F350

I need to get my hands on a set of front leaf springs for a 1997 F350. A few salvage yards around here have them but I cant confirm that they are diesel springs. I trust you guys to steer me in the right direction. They are for my buddy and he is "budget limited" if you know what i mean. So if anyone has a set that could be shipped out here to 84721 please let me know.

How far are the yards? I've used turbo idi springs and psd springs, Kause it may be slightly cost effective to at least confirm your self, and if you can get them to give you the truck vin (8th character at least iirc) then you could confirm it yourself, good luck on the search

Don't the yards track the parts they remove by VIN? If they wanna do business in the information age, they should.

There are yards that have the right ones but they are 150+ miles away. There is a set at a local yard but they came off a gas motor truck. The yard tells me diesel and gas springs are the same but from what I have read here I think that is wrong.
