locking torque converter while shifting

I was thinking of doing the torque converter lock up if I can find some pics of the mod, but with a boost operated switch. Would this keep the dreaded converter "flar" that everyone including my self bit** about? So when I am under boost or putting it to the floor it wouldn't flar, or does it need to unlock?

I don't think that's gonna work very well. It will be constantly locking and unlocking on a lower level and if it's set on a higher level you may have to use a lot more pedal while towing. If it's in a mid level boost range your going to have both issues.

Well I got it on and it works great. I wanted it to lock up when I was screwing around and it does. When it has no boost it works like stock. I also put in a a double throw switich so I can manually turn it on and if I froget to turn it off when I com to a stop the brake switch momentarley turns it off.
