Pulling cyl heads

So I figured I'd pull the cyl heads on the donor motor I have to go into my truck. I was just going to throw it in but figured to at least pull the heads and inspect, and have a vac test done on the heads to see if the vlaves are sealing properly. I figured while I have in injectors out I'd replace the seals. Anything else to do?

replace the glow plugs if there bad or not if you have the heads off then do it because there a pain and you dont have to worry about the probe falling in the cylinder

Thanks, ya I was thinking of doing that as well.

Is there anything I can check on the injectors to see if they are still good?
