i took the whole the assy. off the top off the valve cover on the drivers side and just turned it around so the blowbuy doesnt go it the intake,or the hot air. i put a little extention tube on the 90 tube and called it good. i put a pipe cap on the fitting on the bottom of the intake so it doesnt suck dirty air. dont know if i got a pro. gain by i dont know about you but i dont wont blowbuy gas in my intake.

it doesnt hurt anything, but i think its responsible for the light blue snoke i sometimes get on a cold startup, like once a month when the oil builds up in the intake.

ha, my breather gets clogged up in slim in which gets sucked into the turbo. i even got pics of it.
a work around is a nice idea. post some pics of your fix. |

if your getting blue smoke that is oil burning, or possible unburned fuel due to low combustion psi or low temps on cold days. or it could be that the filter inside of the ccv could be full of oil, which means you have blow-buy. pull the intake hose off in front of the of the filter housing so you can see where the ccv fitting go's in the the intake. start the trk and see if the is blue smoke if there is you have a bad ring or bad valve somewhere. any ?'s just ask

i put them in my gallery, because i could not figure out how to put them in my post. you have to cut off the the factory clamp on the hose so you can turn it, and i used a 3/8 close nipple to put the other part of the hose on

looks like theres nothing to it.
plug the air intake hole under the metal housing reverse the breather and direct a hose towards the bottom. now whats the advantage of doing it? |

well it keeps hot blow by and possible oil from your inkate and turbo. and if it plugs or brokes the filter apart it will go to the ground and to in your engine. but ir your is full of oil or plugged you have some internal problems. that and the nox converter and the emissin controls on the obs powerstrokes, f**k the epa
