obd II exempt?

while i was reassembling the valve covers today, i happen to read all of the international label that gives the specs of the engine.

at the bottom, the paragraph ends with

obd II exempt.

what is the obd II exempt for?

emissions testing on the engine?

btw, fingers are not mine.

That was if it is in California cause their restrictions are strict.

Does your truck have an obd II port?
