Oil Cooler question???

I just rebuilt my oil cooler with new orings and gaskets.
While cleaning everything I mixed up which end went on what end of the cooler.
Looks to be reversible, so I re-assembled with a tab in the center of the allingnment mark and bolted back on.
Any thoughts?

It works either direction. As long as its lined up properly you should be fine

By lined up I assume you mean each end matching so it bolts to the block flush?

Yes. If they are a little off the bolts will correct it but they need to close to start with

I got it back on the block without any trouble.
The cooler tube has tabs on each end about 30 degrees off from one another.
Using the tabs there's only 2 ways each end can go.
I was just worried that the tube itself might not be reversible.
