AE st03 Palm vs laptop

I would like to know if the Palm scan tool will do everything that the pc scan tool will do? I just recently found out they had a Palm scan tool, so I was curious if there was a difference other than you don't need a laptop to run the Palm one.

Not knowing anything about Palms, would it have any capacity to record live data? If not, that would be a drawback. Cheers!

Ask the folks at AE; they know their products and are actually willing to talk to people.

If you're looking for something small, full PC functionality, and CHEAP, look into a used netbook. With the advent of tablets, etc, they're going for peanuts. I got a Dell Latitude netbook on eBay, off some sort of training lease, clean Win 7 Pro install, nearly new battery, $80 shipped.
