6 position chip Issues Relay FOAB 14b192aa Constantly clicking and truck stalls

97 Powerstroke 6 Position chip issues.. Installed bully dog 6 position on my truck today started it up, it was loping, it would rev up fine, then idle and die. CEL popped up. Cranked it over no start. Disconnected batteries hooked them back up, fired it up, ran for a few seconds then died. Left key on, relay foab 14b192aa was clicking almost constantly. Hooked up scanner and threw p0603. Whats going on here? Removed chip and all was good again, and relay stopped going off. But i would like to get the chip to work. Trucks a 5 speed

Came with the truck. Used but not installed. There is something up with the switch though, it will click 10 times instead of 5 times clockwise. Chip looks to be fine, says SUT TDE1 which is for an obs after looking that up. I can try cleaning the pcm contacts a little better and getting a new switch

PCM contacts have to be totally clean. Be careful though it is easy to scrub the terminals right off of the board. If it isnt a bad connection it could be the chip is burned for the wrong pcm code. In my experience bully dog chips are usually not too picky what the pcm code is as long as it is burned for an auto or manual trans. The switch should have a ring that you place in a slot to control how many positions the switch will have. 6 pos should click 5 times. Hope that is helpful
