Frustrated

Another no start issue:/. 1994.5 f350. Started about a month ago. Sputtered on the high way, EGTs started to climb, boost started to drop, CEL came on. So i left off the gas and everything went back to normal and no CEL. Came to a stop sign and it died. Scanned and no codes

Since then I've replaced/checked
All fuses
PCM and ICM relays
Batteries are good
glow plugs
Dorman SD UVCH
OEM GPR
fuel filter
Cleaned fuel bowl, FPR screen was clogged
Cleaned and installed new IPR ORINGS
SD HD gear reduction starter
New Carter fuel pump

After replacing the fuel pump last night I did get it to start. Ran like it had a miss but let it idle for about 10 min and it didnt go away so u turned it off and let it sit for a minute and now I can't get it to fire again. Kinda dont know where to go from here. Any suggestions would be appreciated

There was a little smoke while it did run but thought that was normal. But when cranking there is only a small amount of white/light grey smoke

It would be nice if you knew someone with an IDM like yours that you could try.

I do have a friend who has one and is willing to let me swap some things around... is there anything else I should swap if the idm checks out?

You mentioned that the problem fixed itself, then you did a bunch of maintenence to it, now it's worse. If the IDM doesn't make a big diff, you may want to go back to basics and dig into the the uvch connections, no burnt pins, review all the work you did. Nice looking truck by the way. Maybe cps but it's a stretch in my opinion. Goog luck!

One thing I did do, and I wouldn't think it would make a difference, but when I had the harness out to wire in the new UVCH pigtails I did wrap the harness in electrical tape. I went thru the wiring to make sure nothing was worn first but would that cause any sort of issue?

You could have had a marginal connection made worse with tape, not out of the question. Give the idm a try since it is easy to do. If no joy, retrace your steps. The good news is you are hot on the trail and have done some needed pm at least!

Well i swapped IDMS today and still no start... Imma pull the harness and double check everything. The 2 times I have gotten it to run, I thought was bcuz the batteries where disconnected for awhile, but didn't this time, BUT those 2 times I had the fuel bowl out also and when I put it back in it would start once the fuel bowl filled...
