installing fuel pressure gauge

I know there is a post about installing a fuel pressure gauge on psd at
the shrader valve,but can not find it right now,thinking of using a electric
sending unit which will keep destroying gauges.
I was going to do fpr shim but i think if i do not know starting pressure
i may get and i idea where i am at to start with.
Where do the clips on wire harness go i have a miss on #3 cylinder that
might be a clip issue

fpr&&gauge

thank's,one of the posters had to replace (2) gauges and what these cost
at up to $255 it would get real expensive quick,thats why i was leaning to
electric sending unit.
I was looking at doing fpr shim but thought it would be better to put a gauge on first so i would know what i had to start with.
Another upgrade i was going to do gpr with a stancor relay,but so far i
have not found one at $30 to$40, right now i am looking at $80,but if this
what it take to make truck start better and not have to replace once a
year then it is worth it,thank's
