97 F250 powestroke?
i am looking at a used 97 CC F250 powerstroke with 99,060 miles on it.
i have heard that the front end and ball joints on this year and model are an issue. What else should i be concerned with prior to bying. Not leaks or usuall stuff, but like significant 1997 issues.. |

just the cps aside from regular maintenance. i've also heard about icp sensors, and under valve cover harnesses. however they did not go on my buddys 97 until it was well over 200k. the cps goes whenever it wants to, and the first one seems to usually go in the first 100k.

What to look for when buying a used 94-98 PSD
^ Check this out if you haven't already. I had a '97 and I was real happy with it. Had 225000 miles when I sold it. Great truck. There is nothing I know of that is a problem onkly with the 97's. I mean it is a big heavy truck...ball joints, wheel bearings, shocks, etc.... don't last forever, you're going to have tp replace that stuff anyway at some point. |

that was a real good right up. the cps is on a recall you should see if that has been done if not you could ask the seller to have that done before hand
