Battery light?

Does anyone have any idea why my battery light flickers bright,and dim sometimes? sometimes it don't do it a whole day or two, the batterys stay charged and the glow plugs seem to be cycling fine,

I would check the connections at the batteries and the alternator. I would even go ahead and have the alternator tested.

++^^ Mine did that just before the alternator died completely about 3 weeks ago.

ya mine dose that all of the time have a napa unit on my truck with a liftime. and i have to change it every like 10k or so. somtimes sooner somtimes later. but you have to wait till the light is on to have it tested cuz it will wrok fine for a little bit then not so good. but ya get it tested when the light is on.

Put new motorcraft alt on mine and the light still came on every once in awhile or flickered so I replaced both batteries and solved the problem. both batteries tested good but one must be a little weak or have floaters in it. but when it comes to electrical every issue or vehicle is unique.
