Good Deal? or Great Deal? or not so
i found an OBS 97 F250 CC 4x4 all stock with gauges with 99,060 miles on it the dealer it is at is asking $12,250 for it.. Is this a good deal i told him i could find a 99-03 for that price. the truck itself is in perfect condition origianl two tone white and dark green paint.
so is it worth the price? |

that sounds kinda high but may be book on that truck and if you like the truck that is a small amount if you are planning on keeping the truck for a long time. but now with the way stuff is going with all the loan stuff you may be able to find a newer truck but some say the obs truck is the best i love mine and when i get a new truck i will not trade this one in i will keep it.

The price definitely seems a little high but the mileage is not bad and if the truck is in as good a shape as you say then I would offer a little lower and see what they say. Got any pics?

Very true matt. I think if we had some pics of this truck it would be a lil more helpful in giving an honest opinion and justifacation of the price. Sorry speell cker is off at work today.

See if you can get it cheaper from him. A clean OBS is very hard to find.

Explain the differance between the f350 and f250 front end and let them know how you have your heart on a one ton. talk about ball joints and tire ware. maybe they will come down on the price. I got the dealer to drop 2k in 30min. I took the deal after he dropped the price 3k afew days later. In my area that is a going price, so I would try to get a little better deal.

I paid $14,300 for my truck, so that does seem a bit high. 3 years older and 12,000 more miles for just 2g's less. As long as you are happy with the purchase that is all that matters, though, as we will not be the one's making the payments on the truck. Check on an extended warranty since it has less than 100k on it.

Hi, my first post. Yesterday I bought a 1997 F250 7.3/CC/4X4 with 125k miles for $8k. All stock, one owner. The guy had a pop-up camper in it and has never towed. It was pretty clean for a 11 year old truck. Oh yeah...I live in Southern California. I hope this information helps.
