help with dash

so my truck kinda broke some how. well not really broke but fell afart. in my dash where my wait to start light is that little panel? well that some how broke and is just dangling. how do i take the dash off to get to it?

you have to remove those black trim plastic pieces then remove the two bolts and if its an automatic place it in 1st then pull the dash off o and the lights just put the lights on and pull fast to remove the knob then the dash should pull/ pop off

those two black trim pieces even with the one that says "xl" or "xlt" come of with a flat head they pop off but ae a pain to get out by hands then theres one screw under each one

Yea they just come right off there just held in by black pin things (don't know what they are called). Is all you have to do is take a screw driver or key or knife or some thing and pry it off. Then there is 1 bolt under each one like stated earlier.

i got it and while i was there i finally mounted my chip next to the wait to start panel, i broke the plastic around the bolt but fixed it

yea one of mine broke when i first did it
because i couldnt figure out what i was doin then relised there might be bolts

but does anyone know were to find a good service manuel on this truck
haynes arent that great on the diesel only good for body/trim
