problem starting
so the last few days actually on sat morning it had a problem starting it turned over for about 10 seconds before it started. and thats alot it usually starts as soon as i turn the key. than it has been doing every time i let it sit than today at lunch it was nothing. and i kept turning it and turning it than after about 5 tries it turned over and started. so when i got back i unplugged my radar detector and my ipod jack thing. and it started but still took a couple seconds. is it the battery or starter? cause the alt looks brand new

The best way to test the system is to have the batteries load tested. To do that correctly make sure the person testing the batteries disconnects them from each other so they are only testing one at a time. They can also test the alternator on the truck. You could bring it to your local auto parts store and they will do these test for free usually. Then what I would do is have your glow pplug relay tested to make sure it is working properly. JJ

believe i'd get batteries checked , very possible to not be spinning fast enough

Batteries or Glow Plugs or Glow Plug Relay....check all those first
