Boost Gauge Flutter

My Boost gauge, since I installed it, has always fluttered. I drove a buddys 6.0, and his aftermarket boost gauge was smooth, and swept across the gauge.

How can I fix my gauge that is on crack?
I doubt any of the line is leaking, but I will put some water on it and check.
If it is something like a slight leak on an up pipe, would a pressure snubber work?

Thanks

you can buy a snubber that goes in line and will kill the flutter. That's what I did. I probably have a part number around here somewhere but I think I called autometer and they sold me one. Mine used to dance like crazy when I'd get my boost up in the twenties...now it's smooth all the way up.

made by chemquip products phone number 201-868-4445/6

porous metallic element pressure snubber

stainless steel, size 1/8 npt, catalog no. 12s, porosity E

It worked for me. if you can't still buy it through autometer then you can call chemiquip directly I would assume
