can i lower my lift?

i have a 6" lift and its to high for a ex cab short bed. i was wondering if i can make it shorter? like 4"?

No way ur making the 6inch kit smaller. Just take it off and replace it with ur new kit, or just bring it back to stock, trade... whatever u know?

My opinion is.. my lift kit was such a PITA going on that It aint coming off.

dang. ya cause mine is a 6" with like 8 leafs its crazy and its way to high it doesnt look right

yeah i kind of have the same problem, i love the way the truck looks but i load the back alot and it is a pita with all the lift.
i have been eyeing up the shackle reversal kits and am thinking of doing a superduty spring swap at the same time, that would lower the truck a little and supposedly give me a much better ride.
