94 f350 brakes question

Is there a pump or something that creates vacuum for these brakes?

I know how the master and booster work but is there something else?

I do believe that the OBS trucks booster worked off vacuum that would be supplied by a vacuum pump. But don't take my word for it.

you are right im mix and matching my trucks here. On my truck because the cummins motor doesnt have a vacuum pump, I added a bendix vacuum pump. If I want to get rid of it what would I have to do? Swap brake boosters with something else?

there is a vac, pump on the driver side under the a/c comp.
if the brakes fell like they grab and then let go and repeat then it is prob. the vac. pump. and if the pump is makes a weird noise then its bad. pull the vac. line to the brake booster and see if there is suction. post back if you have more ?s

Swap in the hydroboost brake system from an OBS Super-Duty (F450)

Here: www.obspowerstroke.com

Go on TDS, there was thread about 2-4 weeks old on this subject.
