Question Military tires???????

so what do yall think i am thinking about going with the michlin military tires on my truck what is your opinion on them??

I think your going to need more lift. The tires referred to as super singles are 52 inch tall tire. Also your going to have to find rims for your truck that they will fit on.

Oh and my opinion of the tire itself is they suck in mud. They will pack up with mud and leave you stuck in the thick.

I think there are better tires out there for a better price.

They are heavier than hell,...and if you like to spin tires,...be prepared to buy new axle shafts when yours explode

We used to run the 48" military tires in high school. (I think 48", they were taller than 44's but I don't think the 52" were out yet) We took the military wheel and cut out the center and welded the 15" or 16" stock wheel inside the military rim. Keep in mind that these were mud only trucks. No highway use at all....But, in the mud, they did pretty freakin' good....it surprised me- I didn't think they'd work good at all being so skinny. But like I said, they did pretty good...I don't think I'd want them on the street though. Preston

All mud is different....they probably were good in the mud for you(in your area), because they cut down through the mud, and grabbed the earth underneath

i bought them they are brand new 11.00/16 michlin XT's its there newest tread pattern i have not seen anybody with them
