Welcome
theres no fuel pump to turn up, theres no wastegate. You can shim the fuel pressure regulator. Google Steve Baz and read his page, great info there
Good luck
Dan

Welcome to the ORG. These trucks can be made to run real well. First step is the Air filter. I would do a DIY BHAF. Next would be a turbo back free flowing exhaust. Then you will be ready for gauges and a chip. I would recommend a Tony Wildman chip for the OBS trucks. JJ

Another OBS!!! Bout time.
No on the fuel pump as stated b4. Shim the FPR, unplug the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve ( plug is located under and to the drivers side front of the turbo ) Exhaust ( 3" DP ) out to 4" or 5". DIT intake. Definatly gauges ( pyro, boost, trans temp ). IDM mod.
She'll run pretty good. Then you can start spending $$$ on her. Check my signature.
Welcome to the org.

There is no screw to turn up on a powerstroke. Thats on old IDI trucks. The FPR shim mod will help some. But gauges and a chip are the way to go. These trucks are computer controlled

Yup the old IDI had an inspection cover on the side of the pump. You put it on TDC removed cover and turn up the fuel with an allen wrench. You could make them old trucks smoke as much as you wanted to. I did it to my 93 when I put the Banks Sidewinder turbo kit on it. That truck ran really good. So I decided to also do it to my work truck without the turbo installation and received no seat of the pants horsepower gains. JJ
