when do you guys start plugging your trucks in?

I just watch what the temps will be over night and how much humidity we'll have (windshield ices up easily out here in Oregon).

You can also get yourself a time to plug into to have your heater start just a couple hours before you take off.

yeah true its about 50 here in jersey overnight little rough in the morning

Usually I only worry if it's going to be freezing overnight. So your truck is starting rough and it's only 50?? Sounds a little odd.

it was 45 this morning and it seemed like it didn't want to start, actualy loped for probably 10 seconds than ran fine

Mine never wants to start on the first try with a cold engine, whatever the outside temperature. It always take three tries, but it always runs smoothly after that.

I plug in the block heater, when it is going to be frosty, it always starts the first time when the block heater is used.

im about 20 or lower. i only have to plug it in for about 3 months out of the year
