'98 E450

So can someone please explain to me or direct me to which threads will explain the whole 1998 situation?

Ive picked up on the fact that the PS for 98 was only avail in the Eseries van, correct? So does that mean they are leftover 97s or the updated 99? Ive seen "e99" used. Does that mean early 99?

I am looking at a 98 E450 and am wondering what I should know?
Thanks!

E99 is for the sd trucks and looks like a 99-03, but runs like a Cali model Intercooled obs

Well I'm pretty active on crownvic.net so I know how it goes. But there will be a learning curve to the new language.
