Crank No Start

Went out this morning and my 97 7.3 is cranking and not starting. Cranking with plenty of speed. Fuel smoke is coming out of the stacks. Glow plugs are not coming on. WTS isnt coming on either. Could this be a fuse/relay maybe?

Any ideas?

Try jumping the GP relay for 10-15 seconds, then try to start. Can you get your hands on a scanner / software that communicates with our trucks? If it's makin' smoke, the PCM is running, so it's not the usual fuse #22 issue with no WTS. One slim possibility is that the EOT sensor is way whacked out, and thus the PCM is thinking the engine is fully warmed up, therefore not turning on the WTS light or the GPR.

Well truck is running but heres what happened, instead of going off the WTS light i listened for the GP relay click on for 30 secs and click off then it started right up. So everything seems to be working fine its just the WTS light is sometimes on like it should and sometimes its not. Hmmmm :/

What's the outside temp where you're at? 30 seconds of GP run time is VERY short. Again, sounds like your EOT is reporting a high temp. Might wanna at least check if it's connected.
