Looking at a '94 F350 single wheel, 7.3 psd, 61,xxx mi.

What do you all think? I'd use it for towing a landscape trailer, eventually a bobcat, and maybe the D if I go long distances with it. What would be some solid upgrade's to this already clean looking truck to make it tow well and have adequite street power. I was planing on doing a single 6" stack to the right of the bed and having the truck painted black.

is it a 94.5? (the first of the powerstrokes) maybe something you want to find out. if it is not a powerstroke your power upgrade options became more limited

yes, it's a later 94 with the psd. I don't think I'd get the idi.

it only has 61k, that's why I think they are asking so much. I would never pay that though. What would some good upgrades be for towing and long distance travel?

intake, exhaust, then a chip but with a chip comes gauges but thats about it you can do a diy intake for under 40 bucks, get a fbd budget exhaust for idk lil over 250, bought my TW chip for 200 used then bought pyro and boost gauge for 230 which you really dont need a boost its just fun to watch

well over at pirate they said based on the vin that it is an idi, also due to the fact that it's an auto, they said the '94 psd's only came standard, the auto wasn't offered until '95. any confirmations?

well i looked again and that one isnt badged which is a sign but if you looked under the hood did it have a plastic black cover over the center that says ehhh turbo diesel on it and the middle raises up to acces the fuel filter? and also you could look in the door jam to see when exactly it was built

Do you know what month they switched over to the psd? I haven't looked at it in person yet, so maybe I can just see if it looks stock vs the turbo being added, I'm sure once I see it I'll know for sure.

well unfortunately i dont know exactly what month they switched i just know 94.5 is when they switched so half way through the year. so if it was made in lets say march of 94 you know its a idi and not a psd. another thing it might have a factory turbo on it bc after releasing the 7.3 idi a few years later they added the option of a turbo so it might be a 7.3 idi turbo which also those trucks had a badge on the side that just said turbo diesel.
