Rotella Synthetic, making it from Gold?

Now boys, i know every dang thing that has to have oil in it cost a fortune, but i went to get my Rotella Synthetic for my truck at Wally world and it went UP!!

Like $16.48 gallon to $20.00!!!!!

So i check the regular Rotella (nonsynthetic) and it went up, but by like 20cents!!!

Whinin and moanin won't get me anywhere or change the price. i've been justifying the synthetic because it would cost me that much or more for the regular oil at a lube shop, and i do it myself.

everyone has an opinion, but i really like the thought of the synthetic squezzing out more miles out of my motor, 230,000 now!!!

whose got an opinion, for a lot less i could change back over to regular oil, conventional, i mean: (been a long day).

should i just change back over to conventional or what?

How about stay with Synthetic and do oil tests on it for extended drain

I have a 2000 CC SRW with 307,000 running conventional oil.Burns no oil between 5000 mile changes.

I would go back to the "regular" oil if it were mine.
