6spd in an OBS

anyone put a newer 6spd in an OBS?

i was told yes because the bell houseings are the i am planing on doin this soon the tranys have idenitcal casing he said they bolt up

the trans will work as long as the clutch , flywheel and all will probaby have to be from a 6 speed to operate right , hydraulics will also have to be modified , driveshaft and possible crossmember , i dont think this would be to bad a job

its been done, but I have heard it isn't as easy as it sounds...Mounting is different, also have to mount and run lines for a cooler...the ZF6 has a cooler like an auto...

And a 6.0L in an OBS?! Why on earth would you do that?
