OIL LEAK?????

ok so i was working on my truck today and i have oil on the bottom of my oil pan and a little oil you can see runs down the oil filter. it is tight tho. and on the bottom of the front of my transmission. i have noticed this before a couple time so it has been like this for a while i check my oil all the time and my oil level doesnt go down? so my question is, is ths a problem or just a leak or is it going to lead to a problem?
