5 speed swap???

I've got everything to 5 speed my truck out of a 91 idi donor truck. Minus the computer. My question is can I run my automatic computer until I get a manual computer. And I have a 6 pos chip tuned for an auto can I run it all of it with the zf until I get time to swap the computer and get my chip reburned?

You should also just need your chip reburned for a manual. No need for a new PCM.

Oh ok wasn't sure. But will it hurt it to drive with the chip tunning for an auto. With the 5speed in it? Until I get it sent off?
